Follow the instructions below to configure your browser for Socksify

Windows - Internet Explorer 5.x or 6.0 - DSL or Cable-Modem Connection (LAN)
  1. select: Tools
  2. select: Internet Options...
  3. select: Connections
  4. select: LAN Settings
  5. check the box next to: "Use automatic configuration script"
  6. enter this Address: http://socksify.com/proxy.pac
  7. click on OK
  8. click on OK on the Internet Options menu
  9. click here to test your browser configuration

Windows - Internet Explorer 5.x or 6.0 - Dial-up Modem Connection
  1. select: Tools
  2. select: Internet Options...
  3. select: Connections
  4. in the Dial-up settings box find the icon with the name of your dial-up service, and click on the icon once to highlight it
  5. select: Settings...
  6. check the box next to: "Automatically detect settings"
  7. check the box next to: "Use automatic configuration script"
  8. enter this Address: http://socksify.com/proxy.pac
  9. click on OK
  10. click on OK on the Internet Options menu
  11. click here to test your browser configuration

Mac OS X - Safari
  1. Start up Safari, and choose "Preferences" from the "Safari" menu.
  2. Click on the "Advanced" icon.
  3. In the "Proxies:" option, click the "Change Settings..." button.
  4. System Preferences should start up automatically, with the "Network" panel open and "Proxies" selected. You may need to log in with your Administrator password to make these changes.
  5. Choose "Manually" from the "Configure Proxies:" menu.
  6. Under "Select a proxy server to configure:" click the checkbox next to "Web Proxy (HTTP):".
  7. Enter "proxy.socksify.com" in the server name field and "81" in the port field.
  8. Under "Select a proxy server to configure:" click the checkbox next to "Secure Web Proxy (HTTPS):".
  9. Enter "proxy.socksify.com" in the server name field and "81" in the port field.
  10. In the "Bypass proxy settings for these Hosts & Domains" field, Enter "socksify.com".
  11. Click the "Apply now" button.
  12. Close the Network control panel.

Windows - Internet Explorer 4.x
  1. select View
  2. select Internet Options
  3. select the Connection tab
  4. in the Automatic configuration box click on Configure
  5. enter this URL: http://socksify.com/proxy.pac
  6. click on Refresh
  7. click on OK then OK again on the Internet Options menu
  8. click here to test your browser configuration

Windows - Internet Explorer 3.x
  1. select View
  2. select Options
  3. select the Connection tab
  4. in the Automatic configuration box click on Configure
  5. enter this URL: http://socksify.com/proxy.pac
  6. click on OK then OK again on the Internet Options menu
  7. click here to test your browser configuration

Windows - Netscape 4.x, 6.x, or 7.x
  1. select Edit
  2. select Preferences
  3. click on the '+' to the left of the Advanced option
  4. click on Proxies
  5. click on the Automatic proxy configuration button
  6. enter in the Configuration Location (URL): http://socksify.com/proxy.pac
  7. click Reload and OK
  8. click here to test your browser configuration

Mac OS X - Netscape 4.x, 6.x, or 7.x
  1. select Netscape
  2. select Preferences
  3. click on the triangle to the left of the Advanced option
  4. click on Proxies
  5. click on the Automatic proxy configuration button
  6. enter in the Configuration Location (URL): http://socksify.com/proxy.pac
  7. click Reload and OK
  8. click here to test your browser configuration

Windows - Netscape Navigator 2.x or 3.x
  1. select Options
  2. select Network Preferences
  3. select the Proxies tab
  4. click on Automatic proxy configuration
  5. enter in the Configuration Location (URL): http://socksify.com/proxy.pac
  6. click Reload and OK
  7. click here to test your browser configuration

Windows - Mozilla 0.9.x or 1.x
  1. select Edit
  2. select Preferences
  3. click on the '+' to the left of the Advanced option
  4. click on Proxies
  5. click on the Automatic proxy configuration button
  6. enter in the Configuration Location (URL): http://socksify.com/proxy.pac
  7. click Reload and OK
  8. click here to test your browser configuration

Mac OS X - Mozilla 0.9.x or 1.x
  1. select Mozilla
  2. select Preferences
  3. click on the triangle to the left of the Advanced option
  4. click on Proxies
  5. click on the Automatic proxy configuration button
  6. enter in the Configuration Location (URL): http://socksify.com/proxy.pac
  7. click Reload and OK
  8. click here to test your browser configuration

Windows - Mozilla Firefox
  1. select Tools
  2. select Options
  3. click on "Connection Settings" at the bottom of the "General" section of the "Options" dialog box
  4. click on the Automatic proxy configuration button
  5. enter in the Automatic proxy configuration URL: http://socksify.com/proxy.pac
  6. click Reload and then OK to close the "Connection Settings" dialog box
  7. click OK to close the "Options" dialog box
  8. click here to test your browser configuration

Mac OS X - Mozilla Firefox
  1. select Firefox from the menu bar
  2. select Preferences
  3. select the Advanced icon
  4. select the Network tab
  5. click on the "Settings..." button to bring up the "Configure Proxies to Access the Internet" dialog box
  6. click on the "Automatic proxy configuration URL" radio button
  7. enter the "Automatic proxy configuration URL:" http://socksify.com/proxy.pac
  8. click Reload
  9. click OK to save your changes and close the dialog box
  10. close the Preferences window
  11. click here to test your browser configuration

Mac OS X - Internet Explorer
No version of Microsoft Internet Explorer for the Macintosh supports Automatic Proxy Configuration. Mac users are advised to use another browser (such as Netscape Navigator, Mozilla Firefox, or Safari).

AOL (America Online)
AOL's Web Browser will not work with our proxy server. AOL users are advised to use another browser (such as Netscape Navigator) while connected to your AOL account.
